Something new is coming.JPG

Something new is coming… Tech Tree is implementing new Professional Services Automation (PSA) software to better provide IT services to you and your business. The new software is ITIL aligned and ISO certified, which will allow us to offer a better user experience and ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of our services.

The new system will allow us to better track support tickets and will offer new features such as a self-service portal, client accessible asset register and knowledge base for our managed services clients. If you’re a managed client and would like to be involved with using the new system and provide any feedback, please let us know!

Microsoft Inspire.JPG

Microsoft Inspire, Microsoft’s largest partner event of the year was recently held, with the company unveiling their newest products and software. The two day digital event focused on Microsoft Cloud and the opportunities it provides for partners.

This year’s Microsoft Inspire event paved the way for revealing various new products, services and experiences for the Teams landscape, the introduction of Windows 11 to update the PC experience, and development of Windows 365, a new cloud service set to change the way users experience Windows.

REMINDER!

Windows Users
It is very important to ensure your devices are being updated which should be happening automatically even whilst working from home, depending on your home internet. The latest version is Windows 10 version 21H1. If you want to know more about what is new in this version click here.

Patch Tuesday: Microsoft regularly releases software patches usually every second Tuesday of every month for its software products. Please make sure you apply and restart you computer this week to have these updates applied to your device. For those of you who we managed under a service agreement we will be monitoring and will be in touch if they’re not being applied.

How to update: Allow yourself at least 10 – 15 minutes to fully shutdown and restart your system. This ensures patches are applied, this can also address (and solve) some problems you may be having with your system. You can also manually check by following steps that can be found here.
